did u know that there are female and male taps? maybe it doesn't come as a surprise to guys or even some girls...(some girls are actually quite handy-man-ish) but i just found out today after ja woke me up and while i was nua-ing on my bed. hmmmm.... absolutely bizarre....
 
well apparently the distinciton b/w the 2 genders of taps is that one (female) has the screwing rim outside (yah i know it sounds bad but i dunno how else to describe it.. and i'm too lazy to bother)... and the counterpart (male) has this thing on the inside... maybe it'd be helpful if u go unscrew ur washer and then see where the screwing part is.. inside or outside. (all these helpful info came from ja.. and that, in turn, came from that nice old grandpa working in the hardware store at broadway)
 
well now we know the truth abt taps... shall go check mine! actually ja checked already and we have certified that our tap is FEMALE. talk abt a whole apartment full of girls.. hahha and to suc an extent! woohoo!! anyways the reason why we suddenly got onto this topic is because our washer is spoilt... the filter thingys popped out! cos we switched on the tap too strong and then it just came out. hahahah =) and we have procrastinated at getting a new one till now. hahahah think it's cos we can't stand the irregular flow of water.. and it's not like really smooth flowing out.. i dunno how to describe.. but maybe u might wanna drop by our place to take a look! (if u can... over the indian ocean)
